Hello there! My name is Stephen Leung. Nickname Stevo for short. And welcome to Looks Awesome, my personal portfolio website showcasing some of my best works in Visual Communications Design.

During my highschool years I've taken art and was inspired after witnessing the potential and power in creating graphics digitally beyond traditional mediums. I used to own a Photoshop tutorial website where I wanted to teach myself how I wanted to learn using the Adobe Suite Design programs before diving more into it. I was also involved in helping out my friend's design magazine website at www.looks.gd writing articles for the design community.

Right now I am currently a member of the (HKPC) Hong Kong Photography Club and (JPG) Just Photography Group exploring different fields of photography together ranging from studio photography, street photography, food photography, landscape photography, events photography etc. As well as attending to photo talks where we receive criticism and feedback from the professionals.

Won first place in a drawing competition for Kingkow and my drawing was printed on the book covers.

Achieved black belt in Taekwondo.

Won first place for designing a poster for a Design Exhibition at UNSW Foundation Year.

Inventive Design Studio - Helped create a teaser poster with the Art Director and observed professional photography practices around Hong Kong. At the same time helped deliver packages to clients, and learnt some photoshop techniques along the way. The greatest honour working there was being able to meet one of the guys that was on the team that made the program Final Cut Pro, where his office was just a few floors below the studio. And coincidentally met the number one photographer in Hong Kong. Also they treated me some free lunch meals which made working there a pleasant experience, and I did play some PS3 there just to pass the time.
