Lighting Design - This is my lighting design I made in UNSW Foundation Year Design Course back in 2008. We had to make a lighting design that represents Sydney, Australia. This was my first time and it would be my last time I made a lighting design that was made entirely out of paper alone. Oh I just love waiting for hours for the PVA glue to dry up. Took like 2 weeks of continuos action to make it which includes buying more rice paper rolls.
Entirely made out from Rice Paper in its Maché form consists of both the outer layer and inner core which shows correlation to one another. The outer layer represents the deterioration of the land whilst the inner core with tall cylinder forms coming out expresses city structures that are absorbing the natural resources from the land.
